I found this site estolling the virtues of natural black hair, the site owner calls herself Priestess Jywanza - nuts! ANyway, if you scout around you can find loads of pictures of black hairstyles as well as the High priestesses poetry and a section for visitors to give the history of their natural hair. An example.

I am 18 years old and I started growing my hair out nov. 15 2003 it has been 4 months and already my hair is waving up and it is so pretty when I told people I was growing my hair out they was all like why but to me all black women are startin to look the same and if every other race can wear their hair natural why can’t we.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch - or so they say. But there is I’ve had many. Tasty steak lunches - little nibble buffet lunches - all you can eat vegas lunches - quickly grabbed bite munches - hearty greasy hung-over brunches (must stop rhyming) and lots more you’ve just got to know where to look - Now i dont know if anyone has ever said “there’s no such thing as free hairstyle pictures” but if they did they would be lying - the internet is full of people just dying to show you their pictures - it just takes time to find them.
