I found this site estolling the virtues of natural black hair, the site owner calls herself Priestess Jywanza - nuts! ANyway, if you scout around you can find loads of pictures of black hairstyles as well as the High priestesses poetry and a section for visitors to give the history of their natural hair. An example.

I am 18 years old and I started growing my hair out nov. 15 2003 it has been 4 months and already my hair is waving up and it is so pretty when I told people I was growing my hair out they was all like why but to me all black women are startin to look the same and if every other race can wear their hair natural why can’t we.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch - or so they say. But there is I’ve had many. Tasty steak lunches - little nibble buffet lunches - all you can eat vegas lunches - quickly grabbed bite munches - hearty greasy hung-over brunches (must stop rhyming) and lots more you’ve just got to know where to look - Now i dont know if anyone has ever said “there’s no such thing as free hairstyle pictures” but if they did they would be lying - the internet is full of people just dying to show you their pictures - it just takes time to find them. Childrens hairstyles can be hard to find pictures of, I ended up finding lots of german sites, they seem to have a thing for kids hairstyle pictures over there. Rather scarily I kept on running into p*rn sites, I know i use search engines with their safe filter off (oooh dangerous) but you dont want to find p*rn when looking for pics of kids hair.

There are a number of long hair sites on the web, you’ll find that they are really devoted to long hair - its almost an obsession. which I like.
The main sites are tlhs its run by a guy with a hmm I suppose a fetish for long hair - and being a guy it means there’s lots of photos to look at. He also sells cd’s of the long hair girls wearing different outfits - at this point i left, feeling prehaps I was in the wrong place - still some good care advice to be had here.

The next site is long hair lovers a big site with quite a following - it offer blogs to its users and has an active community.
